Stanton College Prep is in the regional semifinals for the fourth straight year.

The Blue Devils were never a threat to lose Wednesday night’s Region 1-5A quarterfinal against St. Augustine Menendez (6-10-1); but, the lack of an insurance goal meant the messrs representing Jacksonville’s Moncrief neighborhood had to play the full 80 minutes.

Stanton produced its 16th clean sheet in 25 matches with its 1-0 win.

Dhruv Garud‘s seventh minute goal was enough to lift the Blue Devils (18-5-2) to Saturday night’s regional final against Gulf Breeze (17-2-2).
