Clermont East Ridge wins first championship in school history

Clermont East Ridge was the No. 5 seed in its own region, but finished the year No. 1 in Florida’s largest classification.

The Knights (19-3-1) became the first team to shutout Lithia Newsome (21-3) all season. Amir Taylor scored a brace in the title game.
