The Florida high school is at its midway point. Rough starts can be overcome, but teams that have their sights on Spec Martin Stadium would be well served to produce wins during the coldest month of the season.

Official Florida FC will look at the top teams in each classification based on the Florida High School Athletic Association rankings.

There are 19 programs across the state that are unbeaten, including reigning Class 4A state champion Miami Gulliver Prep (15-0-0) who has won 20 straight matches. Other unbeatens include perennial powers Tampa Jesuit (11-0-2) and Boca Raton (13-0-1) as well as Jacksonville Mandarin (10-0-2).

Viera is also in the statewide top 10. The Hawks (12-1) have lost one match over the last two seasons.
