Ponte Vedra won its 11th straight game during a dominating win during a FHSAA Region 1-6A semifinal on Friday night in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The Sharks (19-1-1) entered the playoffs as Florida’s top-ranked team and did little to dissuade a neutral that ranking was undeserved following a 5-0 dismantling of Tallahassee Chiles (12-5-3). Chiles entered the match having conceded 19 goals all season, but Ponte Vedra’s blend of physicality in the midfield and pace up front was too much for the Timberwolves.
