The FHSAA soccer season is racing toward the district playoffs.
Each Tuesday, after the FHSAA releases its official rankings, Official Florida FC will share which programs are the best in the Sunshine State. While little more than regular season bragging rights are at stake, the FHSAA rankings are a good indicator of which teams will host once regional tournaments kick off in February.
Plantation American Heritage retained its No. 1 spot in the statewide ranking. The Patriots are narrowly ahead of St. Johns Creekside, who leapt to the second spot after beating Orlando Bishop Moore and Montverde Creekside within a 24 hour period on January 17 and 18.
